Star Wars Episode XIV - Fulminar

The End

When the galactic dust settled, it was not the Empire nor the Fulminar that were victorious. It was the select few that chose to stand against the darkness that had plauged the galaxy for years.

Allasandria and the Fulminar were defeated. All but a select few of their kind were wiped off the galactic map in one final glorious battle upon Ithor. Rancor, Daskar’Jin, and Qui-Gon’Jin worked together to help destroy the black orb of the Ancients, setting Sith and Jedi Master alike free.

Manifesting upon the battlefield, a great war began. Ancient rivalries renewed and were just as quickly put to rest by lightsaber and by Force. In the end, the force spirits faded but were not forgotten.

Urtz Rebelrouser and his growing band continued to bring freedom and peace to the galaxy through the newly established government: The Alliance of Free Worlds. Meanwhile, our band of heroes went there separate ways…

Trandomar helped Sparlo and brought about a new Jedi Academy, training force users and establishing an order of Jedi that would never end. Through his efforts, new force abilities were found and a new age of enlightenment for the Jedi began.

So’Leet saw his sister home safe to his planet and then began a pioneering journey out into Wild Space. There, he secured multiple planets full of resources and even welcomed in new races to the AOFW. His beyond ordinary scouting abilities inspiring a large band of explorers to flock under his banner. He now leads them, continuing to find new worlds.

Magnus Hyperion hunted down Fest and ended the mercenary leaders life. Then, working with Jerund Taloff managed to create a cure for his entire race. He then returned to his homeworld, bringing with him hope for the future. In time, he was made king of the planet, and the soldiers recruited there by the AOFW are some of the best the galaxy has ever scene since the Mandalorians.

Owen married Corisanlia and the two went on to live a happy life. Owen eventually opened a space station named after his bride designed specifically for treatment of diseases and experimentation to find cures to hithertoo impossible to cure ailments. It acquired great fame when it was found that any species was welcome there, and the bills were negligible to free. It has since become the most famous hospital facility in the galaxy and doctors fight to be accepted into its docking bay doors.

Trinity and Princess Zora layed low for many years after the Fulminar war. There was much hatred towards them by many for their prior betrayal, despite their repentance. In time however, they were allowed to come to the Jedi Academy by Trandomar vouching for them both. Their transformation into Fulminar having left them ageless, the two continue to train new and upcoming jedi to this day. Their legend will never die, and neither will they.

Dia’Ven spent a short time training the AOFW in proper slicer abilities, but soon left when she was offered leadership of her bounty hunters guild. Now, the mention that a member of House Paramexor is on your tail will cause most targets to surrender to their death willingly then be tracked across the galaxy and back again. They will always have the best technology, and they will always know where you are. They are now the most powerful bounty hunter guild in the galaxy.

Daskar’Jin’s force spirit stuck around, guiding Lahsonaf as well as he could. Soon, the two journeyed to the infamous unnamed space station (now under AOFW control). Seeking out Jerund Taloff, Daskar’Jins bondy was cloned and using the technology of the Fulminar and the great teachings of his great great grandfather Qui-Gon’Jin, he came back to life. He and Lahsonaf were married shortly thereafter and had thre children, two of them twin girls. The girls went on to become the most famous perfomers on the HoloNet and every species agrees there is no one as beautiful as they. The boy went into broadcasting and his voice can be heard everywhere from Pod Racing tournament to your local news. It is said that with a single word and a wink he can knock a girl off his feet. He currently has over 10,000 requests for marriage.

Ginix established Droid, a planet where droids can come to be free from the oppression of organics. While many worry over the possibility of a droid uprising in the future, Ginix assures them with a pair of thumbs up that everything is a-ok boss!

Kormin and Sssco continued on as soldiers, joining the AOFW. Despite her protests, Sssco was given the rank of Commandeer and began work as a galactic police force, settling disputes that were to big for local governments to handle. She and Kormin soon grew restless however and turned in their resignations. They then left the history books and no one is sure of there whereabouts.

TRUTH went on to become a doom prophet upon the HoloNet news. Answering calls from all over the galaxy and farseeing horrible futures. While most of his predictions prove false, it is believed they are true visions, and only because of foreknowledge do the events not take place. Some regard him as a joke, while others revere him as a great wiseman. When asked where TRUTH got all his information, the man laughed on air for over an hour.

Hope never quite recovered from the loss of her daughter and the betrayal of Lin. She eventually joined up with Jerund Taloff to continue with his experiments, but her eyes have always remained sad. The only time they are said to brighten is when word of her other daughter Sssco is brought to her.

Nistakoraem never managed to regain her original form and is more often than not seen in the company of Lahsonaf. While only inches tall, her command of the force has not diminished, though perhaps her spirit has.

Rancor faded from the history books, only returning a few times to see how things were progressing. Once to hold a large tournament where time and space could allow any to enter and do battle. All the heroes of old came, but in the end Dia’Ven emerged victorious, Magnus Hyperion coming in a bloody, broken, yet brave second.

Draedulus after being awarded the gift of life by Dia’Ven (a prize she claimed for winning Rancors tournament), now continually seeks Dia’Ven’s attentions. Whether or not they were ever reciprocated is one of the final mysteries in the galaxy.

Now, there is no sign of darkness, and the galaxy is finally at rest…may the force be with us.

Alliance Of Free Worlds

Deciding that it would be very, very bad if Croagnifit got ahold of yet another orb, the group took off towards the chunk of rock that was once a piece of Shower. Arriving at the casino with Trinity at the helm, they broke through the upper story and stormed through multiple flashing advertisements.

Finding Croagnifit doing battle with a blue haired woman named Noir, the group managed to escape with the orb before Croagnifit could kill any of them. Sadly, it cost Noir her legs and Darin his toes.

Changing into his near planet sized form, Croagnifit merged into the Death Star, and soon all ships in the area, Fulminar and Empire, were disabled. Dia sliced into the Deepa II however, and managed to restore the ships functions. On the verge of leaving the gravity well of the planet and the Empire corvettes, the Fulminar and Empire ships came to life again, this time under the control of Croagnifit, and proceeded to disable the ship with ion cannon fire.

The situation grim, the party waited for the inevitable boarding from one of the Empire vessels. However, Dia in contact with Draedulus through telepathy, had Trillanaetheen Fold Space onto the ship, and with the help of Trinity and Draedulus, the group folded space onto a fulminar ship.

Dia handed over the code to free their ship from Croagnifits ancient language, and the group made their escape into hyperspace. Taking Riddicks advice, they headed to the unnamed space station (though Trinity and Princess Zora remained with the fulminar in order to try and acquire supplies for them).

Finding the unnamed space station now under the control of Urtz Rebelrouser from the help of Charis and Aza, the group proceeded to setup shop, as it were, using it as a new base of operations from out of which the Alliance of Free Worlds would begin.

The holonet news was dark, however. Croagnifit had taken the Empire fleet and the Death Star and was proceeding to blow up planet after planet, starting with the inner core and working outwards. Furthermore, the Fulminar had launched an all out assault on every last inhabited world in the galaxy now that the Empire fleet had been so greatly weakened.

Coming to together with Urtz and Charis, the group forged an agreement between them all, solidifying the Alliance of Free Worlds government. Darin then gave a speech across the holonets, inviting anyone who wishes to join them to come to the station.

Meanwhile, the force users trained with Charis in his hopefully future Academy, Zora and Trinity showing up and joining in later, bringing a small fulminar ship and a crate of mulinear from their supply run. TRUTH prophesied that if Ithor burned, the Fulminar would fall, but it would give rise to yet a greater darkness. He then further mentioned that a planet must be split.

With only a few small ships arriving at the space station, will the Alliance of Free Worlds hold together? Will Croagnifits rampage of destruction continue unchecked? What are the Fulminar planning that has to do with Ithor? Will our group rise up as saviors, or will darkness triumph? Find out next time in these final sessions of Star Wars Episode XIV: FULMINAR

As the sounds of battle ended, so did the life of Daskar’Jin. His body, beyond recovery, expired, and his life began to return into the force. Then, from afar, a power pulled him into a force spirit, bringing him to meet his ancestor Qui-Gon’Jin. He informed Daskar that he and all the other force spirits from millenia past were trapped inside a prison of the ancients. Yet, he had the power to briefly send Daskar back so he might deliver a final message to one of his companions.

Daskar chose to appear as a force spirit before Magnus, and conveyed words of wisdom and encouragement to his friend. After which, he was brought back to Qui-Gon, who informed him that even here in this place, there were battles too be fought. For ancient Sith Lords dwell in the prison. The two drew lightsabers, and journeyed forth into the prison realm to do battle together.

Meanwhile, Karis and Trandomar meditated on events to come, while Darin was worked on by Sensoo and Owen. XO was given a new body by Croagnifit, and now seemed linked to the entire planet, able to move Hope’s lab up into the core (which was really no longer the core, being stretched to outside of the planet!) Darin was thrown into a bacta tank, and by using Hope’s lab equipment and prototype experimental technology, was grown a piece of his spine out of Mulinar, which Owen implanted into his body.

Twitch delivered holorecorded messages from Allasandria herself to each of the squad members. All of them promised or offered one thing or another, if they join with the Fulminar. While one or two of the squad had some desires to take her up on the offer, the majority outright refused to have any part with them.

Twitch also said he could bring Daskar back to life, but the party refused again. Disgusted, Twitch left before it ended in hostilities. Cleaning droids mucked up the remains, though Magnus gathered what he could of Daskar in order to hold a funeral pyre for his friend.

Trandomar and Karis discovered that Croagnifit was headed for Shower. Frustrated at yet another of his attempts to bring the ability of the force to all life in the galaxy failing, Karis left for his ship after bidding farewell.

Deciding that drastic action was needed, the squad got together and discussed things, eventually deciding to form a new government, apart from the Empire! The Alliance of Free Worlds (AFW for short) had begun! With the help of XO, competent personnel for a frigate that was left on the world was gathered, and the people were informed to join the new government and report to the ship!

Speaking with Croagnifit, they found he intended to take back what was his, which seemed to be the force orb harbored inside of the R2-D4 in Shower Academy’s R&D section. Realizing he would simply destroy everything in his path to get it, the squad bargained with information to spare their loved ones, friends, and a few possessions from the destruction to come.

Croagnifit, while hard to understand at times, accepted the deal after he was informed of the Fulminar and the Death Star in orbit around Shower. An attempt was made by Owen to send a false alarm of a possible Fulminar invasion headed for shower at random coordinates, in the hopes that the Death Star would not be there when The Core arrived.

The group made ready, boarding their new ship with their new crew. Thousands of people had come to the landing platforms however, hoping for a way off of the planet where the droids had gone mad (or perhaps just wanted a new life).

As The Core came out of hyperspace, the Death Star and a part of the Empire’s fleet was seen still in orbit around Shower. Quick to respond, Star Destroyers began orbital bombardement, beginning to destroy The Core’s planetary shields through sheer firepower. The Death Star began to manouver itself into a firing position, having been on the opposite side of Shower from The Core!

Croagnifit exploded into a giant mass of grey force energy, which then formed into his ancient body, nearly as large as a planet and definitely as large as a small moon (like the death star!) Massive talons dug into Shower, ripping parts of the planet out that the party desired spared from the immediate destruction after XO sliced through the Empires defenses.

XO gave countdowns, ranging from planetary shield failure of The Core, to the Death Stars alignment with the planet! The squad decided to takeoff, giving orders to all people on The Core to evacuate in any way they could find! So Leet spotted a stealthed ship fleeing the landing platform (likely containing Revanche inside, who had been found to of lived through his fall by some investigating by Trinity, So Leet, and Dia Ven), but with all of the chaos as the planetary shield failed, they were unable to pursue it!

Taking off as orbital bombardment began to rock The Core, Trininty manuevered through crashing buildings and turbolaser fire. The ship was struck numerous times despite her skill, resulting in the ship crashing down on the piece of Shower that Croagnifit had ripped out. Abanonding the ship, the party ran from the forest to find Shower Academy in chaos.

Droids from the Core had landed and were blasting Stormtroopers, ships were fleeing the piece of rock that was now spinning in chaotic orbit from Shower! The Death Star came in range of The Core and fired, blowing the planet into chunks and pieces!!!

Magnus found Roland on the training grounds, battling droids, and the two rushed to the docking area, while Trandomar, Trininty, So Leet, and Princess Zora rushed to the docking bay to prep the Deepa II.

Owen headed for R&D, finding Riddick’s squad (Blades Edge) attempting to deal with Croagnifit. Riddick told Owen to charge with him, and Owen did so with hesitation. Blows from Vibro-daggers breaking off of the ancients skin (who had now turned into his humanoid form btw, and looked more in his 20’s than in his 30’s like prior!) Owen gave Croagnifit a wink and swung wide with his lightsaber. Either not understand, or simply not liking being faux attacked, Croagnifit punched Owen in the stomach, though it had little effect against the former sith lord. Riddick grabbed the ancient into a headlock, leaving Owen with the perfect opportunity to strike. Owen, not wanting to break his deal, did not take it.

Croagnifit exploded with force energy, driving back his opponents and seperating Owen and Riddick from the rest of Blades Edge. Accusations flying from Riddick, Owen denied everything and told the furion that he was ordered to get Hope and Lin out of R&D (Owen and Darin had been previously ordered to help secure a permiter by General Grimes).

Fleeing from the ancient, Riddick and Owen took off in seperate directions through R&D, while Darin found Blades Edge running past him, having been ordered to flee by Riddick with a well placed yell earlier.

Approaching Croagnifit, the two moved through R&D together, and the ancient found the room that held R2-D4, noting happily that another orb was held in the adjoining room. Opening the door, R2-D4 wheeled itself over, and Croagnifit touched the droid, who then simply came apart, screws, bolts, and pieces falling down into a pile on the floor. There, admist his pieces, lay a grew glowing force orb. Croagnifit took it into hand, his features changing to that of someone in their late teens, and his grey hair turning closer to silver.

He then moved to the other door, informaring Darin that it was Serenitaens orb. Inside was Syntha, who sat in the corner, staring with wide eyes. Croagnifit approached, grabbing her head in her hands.

Meanwhile, Owen had found Corisnalia, who had been battered and tortured for information about the Fulminar by the Empire. Rushing out, he found Riddick with Hope and Lin. Yet more accusations from Riddick occured, but with the planet under attack and the piece they were on spinning to destruction, there was no time for lengthy arguments.

Arriving in time to see Croagnifit holding Syntha, Hope screamed for people to stop the ancient! Lin managed a shot of his blaster, but the ancient simply ignored it. Lin began to drag a screaming and paniced Hope away, but Riddick ended the problem with a sharp elbow to the frantic mothers head. Without anymore interference from Darin or Owen, Croagnifit caused Synthas body to melt into a silvery liquid (similar to what the party had seen back in Hope’s lab on The Core), exposing a force orb glowing with yellow energy. He added it to his growing collection.

Owen, Riddick, Hope, and Lin, fled for the exit, while Darin searched the area with his jedi senses…

Meanwhile, giant pillars of stone came out of hyperspace, bearing upon their sides massive amounts of Fulminar! The pillars drove into the already damaged planet Shower, beginning to crack into its surface! Draedulus, Washeferneen, Vahliuorieth, and Trillanaetheen flew from one of the pillars that came near the chunk of Shower that held the Academy.

Draedulus questioned the party on the whereabouts of his sister, going so far as to send out a telepathic message. Trininty responded, letting him know that Owen had her. The Deepa II took off, Trillanaetheen purusing carefully behind it, joined by Draedulus shortly thereafter.

Owen, fleeing the base, came to the exit, only to find Washeferneen and Vahliuorieth blocking his escape. Using the wisdom of Twitch, he ran back into the base, toss a grenade to hopefully damage and delay his purusrers, giving instructions to the part aboard the Deepa II on his new destination.

Croagnifit told Darin that he had realized yet another force orb was nearby, this one having belonged too Wasin. Darin, realizing it was the prize he sought in the casino, asked Croagnifit to help him trace down the force artifacts he was sensing deep below R&D, since Croagnifit would now be taking the orb. In what seemed a jolly mood, the ancient agreed, and the two descended to find [TRUTH, Jerund Taloff, and a still in cloning vat tank Tari Nar!

Snatching the jedi and sith holocrons which were to be used in instructing the soon to be born Tari’Nar, Darin found he could not leave the area before the dark lord would awaken. Unable to simply execute a defenseless opponent, Darin allowed Tari’Nar to come to life, though the dark lord seemed quick enough to give orders, he lacked a grasp on current events taking place.

TRUTH, Darin, Tari’Nar, and Jerund Taloff took the elevator out of R&D, hoping to make it in time for the pickup from the Deepa II (Croagnifit having left to go retrieve his third force orb after dropping Darin off).

Owen rushed out of the Academy, Trinity having brought the ship down near the base. However, the fulminar had been watching closely, and before he could board with Corisanlia, Trillanaetheen intercepted his course. Lightsabers drawn, the two eyed each other over, while Washeferneen and Magnus began to size each other up, exchanging a few minor blows.

Trandomar, seeing an opportunity, had Ginix fire upon Dreadulus, who was floating nearby observing events. Without the force do to a ysalamari Owen had stolen from R&D, the child of Allasandria began to be blown away. Trillanaetheen moved quickly, connecting lightsaber blades with Owen, and with one quick flurry of speed, took the doctors arm off above the elbow!

Orders to stop were given, and Trandomar knowing Owens life to be in danger, stopped Ginix from continuing fire on Draedulus, though the boys right leg and right arm had been blown away and a giant wound was left in his back. Vahliuorieth rushed to Draedulus, dragging him away and out of the ysalamari presence. (During this time, Riddick attempted to get Trininty to take off without the party, so they might escape the impending doom, however, the Fierrerro refused)

Owens life hanging in the balance, he explained his love for Corisanlia, and that if they would let Trandomar heal her with his force abilities, she would explain that she wished to go with Owen and not her siblings. After some more deliberation and massive suspicion from Tillanaetheen, it was agreed to let Corisanlia be healed. The ysalamari was tossed away, restoring the force to the area, and Trandomar gave the blue haired girl enough life to become concious.

Corisanlia, after a brief confirmation about a deal she had with Owen, confirmed that she wanted to leave with him aboard the Deepa II. Explaining that she was not supposed to be the negotiater, Vahliuorieth came over (after having stabilized Draedulus from death). A deal was struck, each person there owing her (the fulminar) one favor to be called upon in the future.

Magnus and Washeferneen both having decided to go off and have a good fight while the fighting was good, ended their fight at more or less a draw when they were told it was time to go!

Darin arrived with TRUTH, a sack full of holocrons, and a long shiny black case, climbing aboard the ship as it prepared to leave. Torgodan also attempted to get aboard, but Trandomar refused to let him on, despite Riddick telling the Ithorian he was in his squad. It resulted to blows, and Ginix was ordered to fire upon Torgadon, while Trandomar slammed him against the Academy wall. After a quick lightning strike, the dark force user retreated back inside the base, greatly wounded.

The Deepa II took off while another pillar from the fulminar came out of hyperspace and crushed the Academy and all that remained.

Now, Shower has come apart, fragmeneted out into giant chunks that can only be called asteroids rather than planet pieces. Croagnifit has leapt over to the casino where a piece of Rainbolt City remains barely intact. The Empire fleet maintains constant fire upon the fulminar and their pillars. And the Deepa II and its crew members are caught in the middle of it all.

Did Tari’Nar and Torgadon perish in the destruction of Shower? What of General Grimes and Deadeye? Where was Grand Admiral Thrawn in all of this? Will Croagnifit take yet a third orb of the ancients? Will the Deepa II even be allowed to leave the system unhindered by the Empire, who know they have Hope and Lin aboard? And what will become of Crazy Jacks Antique shop?! Find out next time on Star Wars – Episode XIV! FULMINAR!

The squad entered Hope’s laboratory, finding numerous tools ranging from hydro-spanners to slicer kits. Along with these were diagrams and information related to the R2-D4, Synth, and the two Force orbs they both contain within themselves.

Also of note was a crate (or two?) of mulinear, and an odd combination of droid, flesh, and mulinear that seemed only partway finished. A droid calling herself XO forbid anyone from accessing the files however, denoting her distrust of meatbags.

After a bit of discussion, in which it seemed the droid was a few processors short, displays of two groups already on The Core were shown. One was a Sith lord known as Darth Terius, who Owen and So Leet recognized from their past. The other group was composed of three G.E.F.’s, Karis, Heiwa, and Sensoo.

XO explained that her goal was to bring back The Maker, an ancient by the name of Croagnifit. The party agreed to help XO bring back The Maker and aide the G.E.F.’s by stopping the Sith lord and his party.

Leaving the lab, they came across Twitch Caffeine, long since dead, he had been cloned and reconstructed into a Fulminar. Explaining he was here to stop the resurrection, he traveled with the group in pursuit of Sith lord and heading for the core of the planet, who now planned on following Twitch’s advice.

On their way, the squad found humans being processed (murdered) by droids. Twitch went on ahead, followed by Magnus who was concerned for his friend. The rest of the party cleaned up the murdering droids, and found that force energy from their lives was being syphoned down into the heart of the planet at the time of the humans deaths.

Descending down, the squad was half ambushed by Darth Terius and his crew. An exchange of information began, in which Owen learned that Darth Terius still held some of his lost memories, and that he was one who had murderered So Leet’s family. A mandalorian named Revanche claimed he had been hired by Dia Ven’s former owner, and that he was here to collect her. Upon seeing a Falleen princess and one of the rarest species in existence, a Firrerro, he offered nearly 300,000 credits for all three, but was turned down by the squad.

Still, the squad agreed to work with Darth Terius to stop the resurrection of Croagnifit, and the groups journeyed on cautiously. Coming out into the heart of the planet, a massive amount of visible force energy had been gathered at its center, Karis, Heiwa, and Sensoo all channeling power into it. The squad split up, Twitch’s aidspeeder heading for a floating console, Trininty’s for Karis, and Terius splitting off to another console.

Twitch began accessing the computer systems, but the archaic droid language it was programmed in was difficult for even him to deal with. However, other slicers were working in the system, one for the resurrection (seemingly), and one against. Twitch quickly began aiding the latter, hoping it was the key to ending the resurrection.

Meanwhile, after Karis’ airspeeder was subjected to heavy fire, causing its repulsorlifts to sputter and slightly spin, Trandomar and Karis shouted too each other. Karis explained he was trying to bring about the resurection of an Ancient, so all might grow more powerful, including the Empire! Swayed by his words, the party (except Twitch) decided to once again change sides, and Trandomar levitated over to Karis’ airspeeder to help channel the force energy.

Twitch and the second mysterious slicer finished their coding! But, rather than end the resurrection process, the force energy being gathered was shifted over to Darth Terius and his apprentice! Dark force energy was surged into their bodies, their power growing. Karis, Heiwa, Sensoo, Trandomar, and many of the other force users all worked together pull the energy back away from the Sith. As it passed Owen and Darin, the two reached out and pulled some of the energy inside of themselves, force power ravaging their bodies, but increasing their strength in the force…perhaps permanently.

Owen and So Leet did battle against Darth Terius with lightsabers and force powers. Wounds were exchanged, and the Sith lord offered either party in turn rewards for killing one or the other. So Leet would get his family back. Owen would have his memories returned. In the end, neither agreed, and the Sith lord was destroyed, his spirit fleeing the dead shell.

Darin, believing himself to be a match for anyone by himself, challenged the Sith apprentice Cryssenia to battle, and told his squadmates to stay back. The ensuing battle left Darin missing a lightsaber chunk of his back lengthwise, multiple lightning burns ravaged across his body, and other such pains. Terius’ spirit moved to possess Darin, and fearing his life to be at an end, Darin made a desperate plunge down towards the giant ball of force energy in the hopes its power could save him. Trandomar grabbed Darin with the force before he could impact, and dragged him onto Karis’ damaged airspeeder. After being asked for help by Trandomar, Sensoo quickly went to work with force techniques, aiding Darin’s mind enough to let him fight off the Sith intruder.

Revanche fought against Zora and Daskar’Jin, the mandalorian showing himself a well prepared foe, cloaking and launching grenades towards the squad members, sending shrapnel and pain into Daskar more than once! Magnus showed up, and with his veteran battle senses began to more precisely pinpoint the cloaked fighter. Daskar was hit by a blast from the mandalorians sniper rifle. Quick to respond, Magnus and Zora began leaping from platform to platform to flank the mandalorian. Daskar’Jin reached out, ripping the rifle free from Revanche’s hands, but not before the mandalorian set it to explode. Diving forward, wounds from grenades already paining him, the explosion of the weapon sent him sailing over the edge of the panel he was on and careening into the wall/floor of the planets core.

Magnus, Zora, and eventually Twitch all combined their assaults against Revanche, dehelmeting him and sending him down/sideways into the wall of the planet core, which now rose up beyond the planets surface and approached the upper atmosphere.

Enough force energy having been gathered, the force exploded upwards and expanding into a massive grey light, forming into the ancients body Croagnifit. It then shrunk down back inside of the core (which was now more of an outstretching from the planet) forming a mid 30’s humanoid body with grey hair and grey skin. He then handed Trandomar a bundled package, afterwhich accessing a nearby console that formed as he beckoned with a hand. The planet shuddered as it went into hyperspace and Karis asked if they were headed to Ossus, but all Croagnifit responded with was ‘Get back what’s mine.’

What has become of the mandalorian Revanche? Has Daskar’Jin gone to be with the force? Will Owen and Darin remain corrupted yet empowered by the dark side? Will Twitch stay with the group or leave now that his primary mission has failed? Where is Croagnifit taking The Core and what are his intentions? Find out next time in Star Wars Episode XIV! FULMINAR!!!

After some more shopping, researching, jedi master training, ship modification, a visit from Grand Admiral Thrawn, and a very, very angered Aza, the squad headed off planet to The Core.

Upon arrival, they were greeted by an automated message system, welcoming them to Core space, and proceeding to dock with one of the two shipyards in orbit around the planet, the planetary shield preventing them from descending to the surface directly.

In the docking bay lay debris from other ships, who Dia discovered was the result of turret and blaster fire destruction. Only one other ship remained untouched from the destruction, a tear shaped black ship, looking like it could hold 3 to 4 people comfortably.

Greeted by a droid who was seemed to be confused easily, or else had a problem with his log circuits, the squad was brought out to the construction rim. There, they found the humans who once occupied the shipyard were now being forced by the droids to do droid work. Alas, the droids simply didn’t understand why productivity was so bad, and had been continually shoving humans out into space to work on the half finished Star Destroyer resting in the shipyard.

Not having any of it, Daskar’Jin and the others began to lay waste to the droids. Trandomar using his great power over the force to pull humans back from the brink of death, while the rest of the squad lightsaber and blasted their way through the construction droids.

Cleaning up, the squad inquired of the terrified employees what was going on. Most of them didn’t have a clue except for Strata, who explained to them that the droids had started acting funny about a week ago, and then one day simply turned all at once on their owners, forcing them to do the work of the droids. Suspecting the source was down on the surface, the squad, Strata and fellow co-worker in tow, headed down the single accessway, a massive orbital turbolift.

After an impromptu dance party took place to the turbolift music (Likely something from one of the more popular cantina bands) the squad was blasted out of the shaft, turbolift and all, from Heavy Destroyer Droid fire! Hurtling through the sky like like an Tie Fighter without wings, daring escapes for life ensued.

So Leet managed to grappling hook his way back to the turbolift shaft, Trandomar, Trinity, and Princess Zora hanging on for their lives! Trandomar moved to steady the turbolift in order to help the others, while Zora and Trinity used the force to Slam themselves slower, preventing the fatal splattering impact from occuring!

Darin grabbed ahold of Dia Ven and fell from the turbolift before the droid blaster fire could burn him to ash, and quickly shapeshifted into an alien race with wings. Dia meanwhile pulled out her ion grenades, and the two began bombing runs upon the droids, disabling them in short order!

Magnus Hyperion relied on his newly acquired and faithful bonegnawer Pomo, who grabbed ahold of his upheld Vibro-Axe and flew him (tossed) to a nearby roof of a building. Magnus’ abnormal strength and nack at absorbing damage leaving him with only a few bruises.

Daskar’Jin and Owen managed to get to the turbolift shaft with the aide of Trandomar and a bit of lightsaber skill and some mechanical hands smashing into weaker made metal!

Ginix impacted after tossing Strata and his co-worker to the roof Magnus fell upon, and was thought to of been destroyed from the impact. However, after being uncovered it was found his paint job had flecked off, revealing him to have a completly Mulinear frame that Hope had installed him into recently!

Sneaking through the city, the party observed humans under the subjugation of droids, and many droids doing jobs that normally only a human would perform. Coming to Hope’s employers building, Syntha Tek, they were allowed access thanks to the code cylinder Hope had provided them. Moving through the office building, they went down (worringly) another turbolift underneath the surface of The Core, arriving inside a large research area, and greeted by a strange female voice, who quickly realized none of them were Hope…

What has caused the droids to turn upon their masters? Who came on the black ship in the docking bay? What of the visions from the force users who saw Ginix, R2-D4, and the ancients force orb? What will they find in Hope’s laboratory? Will the droids truly drink their blood as oil? Find out next time on Star Wars – Episode XIV! FULMINAR!!!

Gotta Get Away

Princess Zora informed the squad she had been in contact with the Empire, and that a pickup (wether an evac or assault) was going to be coming within the next four hours. Daskar’Jin gave a speech of light and justice, and that while the threat of the Fulminar and the possibility of Allasandria’s presence was dire, they needed to free the children.

Daskar’Jin also spoke one on one with Lahsonaf, coming to an agreement that if she would simply watch and observe the partys actions, she would be allowed to go free afterwards, hoping to show her another side of life other than the single mindedness of the Fulminar.

The team went to work, finding Sparlo under the mine cart and making sure he was not left for dead. Attempts to get the few children still mining to gather the other children met with little success. Different attempts were made by Owen, but the team made securing the docking bay where the Empire transport was too arrive at top priority. However, efforts were still made.

Eventually, Trandomar left the group with one of the children, asking to be taken to the others. Weary from constant use of the force, Trandomar trudged on alone without the group, moving past the guards in the base and into a large room where children slept or rested without breathing room, many of them crowded on top of others for lack of space.

Trandomar tried to get the children moving, but many of them wanted to continue sleep, not leave at all, or simply take more spice. Mon Calamari guards appeared, and Trandomar fell unconcious as he tried to use one Jedi Mind trick too many!

The rest of the group with Kormin now leading (Daskar’Jin being seriously wounded still), having been commed by Trandomar shortly before, organized the remaining healthy people for a rescue operation with the time they had left.

Blowing away guards and spicers, they easily made there way through the short path to where the children were held, freeing Trandomar along the way. The children were promised power granted by the dark side of the force, along with better spice than what they now possessed, which seemed to be the only real motivator they would follow.

Pouring out of the base, and blowing away guards, the team escaped with fifty-seven children, leaving the rest behind due to time constraints and fear of possible overwhelming numbers from the Mon Calamari. Darrin and Dia Ven managed to jury-rig the slave control boxes to keep the childrens collars from exploding after leaving the base area, and everyone arrived at the docking port without further incident.

The Empire transport arrived, along with a Star Destroyer which immediately engaged the Fulminar battle cruiser, covering the squads escape. Lahsonaf staying behind after a parting Slam due to words about wings sucking from Owen. (Spilling Darrin’s salvaged goods everywhere!) Kormin acted quickly, sending out a squad to cover Darrin, as the force users in the party all felt the massive explosion of a Fold Space deeper in the station where Kahsolifar and Draedulus had departed from.

Hurrying aboard ship, the transport made it safely into hyperspace. Once aboard, Sssco took command as the mission was over, and ordered Corisanlia to be imprisoned. A large argument was had between Owen, Corisanlia, Sssco, Kormin, Daskar’Jin, and some of the other team members. In the end, Owen and Corisanlia were both collared.

Greeted upon landing by General Grimes, Aza, Hope, Ginix, and Lin, the party split up, going about their business on Shower. Corisanlia was quickly detained and put in a holding cell inside of R&D.

Trandomar and So Leet sought to reclaim their lost credits, but found only a small return of their original bet upon the Arena match. Being treated unjustly, but unsure how to proceed to get their money back due to blatant racism, they headed back to the Academy after speaking with Darrin, who found his way into the Casino blocked by the guards, despite shapeshifting into multiple forms and even impersonating a prior patron.

Trandomar went into the forest to have another training session with Jedi Master Charis, while Owen took out his frustration about the Empires handling of Corisanlia by beating up every new recruit he found in one of the training gyms. Trandomar also got negotiations working with the Ithorians he had rescued from slavery, in the hopes of furthering his own career, and helping out his homeworld of Ithor, which is under attack by the Fulminar.

Eventually, a new mission was given and the new squad leader was announced. Darrin would lead, with Daskar’Jin as XO and So Leet as CO. Communications and shipments from The Core, have stopped, and the Empire is sending the squad off to find out what’s wrong and fix it. So Leet also revealed that the droids that attacked the arena were of a manufacturer from the same planet.

What awaits the squad on this planet of droid and prototype technology? Will Darrin be able to step up as squad leader? Will So Leet ever be promoted? Did Urtz Rebelrouser live through the Fulminar and the Spicers? Will Allasandria’s children be content to let their sister stay in Empire hands? Just what in the world is a moisture farmer and why do they have harvest seasons anyway? Find out next time on Star Wars – Episode XIV! FULMINAR! (Okay, maybe you won’t find out about moisture farmers)

Some things do cost an arm and a leg

Returning to their temporary headquarters at the once Ssi-Ruuk base, the team debated on their next course of action while one of Perits men demanded that they come and give aide to his forces as they finished off the last of [[Orychee]s men.

So Leet, who had been monitoring the pirates communications closely, found word that the package was going to be left at a drop location. Deciding that Corisanlia was the best option, the team followed So Leet through the base, passing through the strange forest at its bottom and up into the Mon Calamari spicer base.

Interrogation of a guard was somewhat made, but Magnus, frustrated at Rolands addiction and OD on spice, brought the exchange of words to a quick end. Through the abuse of mind tricks, Daskar’Jin and Owen brought a few more guards to their doom, causing the enslaved children to run in panic.

Moving through a large ore refinery part of the base, the package (Corisanlia) was seen in the distance, while at the same time a group of Mon Calamari spicers were ordering the children to calm down, executing those that did not obey.

Owen and Sparlo went for the package, which was now being toted off by Kahsolifar, Draedulus, and Lahsonaf. Knowing neither was good at stealth, they erred on the side of caution and let the Fulminar take a large lead, resulting in them losing sight of their target briefly.

Finding them again, Sparlo decided to risk his life, and folded space inside of the container Corisanlia was being held in. Arriving in the dark cramped space, Sparlo’s left arm and right lower leg were forfeit, having arrived outside of the container.

Screaming, Sparlo grabbed Corisanlia and folded space again, falling on the refinery floor at Owen’s feet. The doctor began to work quickly, while the Fulminar turned to find just whose limbs had interrupted their walk.

Meanwhile, Trandomar, Daskar’Jin, and Dia Ven went to try and save the children. Trandomar reached out with the force, pulling the controls for the slave collars out of the Mon Calamari guard hands. Thinking it was the children rebelling with the force, they began to quickly execute child after child.

Dia Ven, with some amazingly accurate shooting, blew the guards away before all of the children good be killed. The team, knowing time was short and hearing the screams of pain from Sparlo’s com, let the last Mon Calamari leave with the enslaved children, and went rushing to aid their companions.

A great battle began, Owen taking Sparlo and the unconscious Corisanlia from the battlefield. Magnus and Sssco rushed to fight against Kahsolifar and Draedulus. Draedulus took to the sky, thwarting Sssco’s attempt to close at melee with him, while Kahsolifar made light of Magnus by reversing gravity and rendering him airborne.

Lahsonaf began attacking Daskar’Jin, Trandomar, and Trinity, splitting herself into two beings of smaller mass with an unknown force ability, while fulminar charged Dia Ven.

The classic case of choosing the wrong opponents, Allasandria’s children and the Fulminar began dealing deadly wounds to the team. Meanwhile, Owen had done what he could for Sparlo without proper medical facilities, and had brought Corisanlia around.

After asking about the deal they both had together, Corisanlia let Owen know his friends were in trouble. Owen decided to lure Kahsolifar away from the rest of the team, by telepathically informing him of his faux intentions of killing Corisanlia.

Succeeding, Kahsolifar appeared through folding space, Corisanlia stated her intent to not going with her siblings and staying with Owen. Kahsolifar seemed displeased, and decided to bring in Allasandria to see just what their mother would say.

Meanwhile, Magnus and Sssco had no way of engaging Draedulus, who floated in the air above them. Luckily, Draedulus seemed to have the same problem, unable to effectively harm either of them. Dia Ven, having survived her close encounter with the fulminar, with a little help from Trinity near the end, began blasting at Draedulus, who negated the energy with his force abilities.

Magnus, frustrated, threw an ore load of insults towards Draedulus, who reciprocated by putting a lightsaber through the Myrmidons leg. Magnus began quickly counter-attacking, forcing Draedulus to flee back into the sky. The stalemate was ended when Draedulus fled to answer Kahsolifars summons.

Lahsonaf sought to rejoin herself back together, but in the end became trapped with one of her legs underneath a giant pile of ore due to the teams actions. Negotiations began, and now the team works to decide what to do with her.

Draedulus, having arrived by Kahsolifar, and placing his hand on his shoulder, exploded with the force, and the two folded space away, apparently to get fetch their mother.

Now, Sparlo lays drugged and possibly dieing underneath a mine cart, left there as Owen fled with Corisanlia. Lahsonaf lays trapped, attempting to make a deal with the rest of the team. Perits men continue to dominate and take over the station.

Will Kahsolifar and Draedulus return with Allasandria? What deal will be made, if any, with Lahsonaf? Will Sparlo be able to live through his grievous wounds? Can Daskar’Jin convince Lahsonaf that there is more in the galaxy than just killing? Has Princess Zora achieved her goals back at the Ssi-Ruuk base?! Find out next time on Star Wars Episode XIV! FULMINAR!

Mistakes Were Made

Tash began to argue that the killing and spacing of the unconscious Fulminar was the right thing to do at the time, despite the battling of children versus pirates going on the grand staircase inside the Pirate Kings base. After arguing from Owen and Magnus, Tash still had her way, and the party left the battlefield in the hands of Urtz Rebelrouser, who was shocked at the team not going to help the children against the pirates, but didn’t stand around to argue.

Time was taken to seek out an airlock and wait for a skirmish between Fulminar and Myneyrsh to end there, before Tash and Sssco applied deadly force to the unconscious children of Allasandria, before then spacing them out the airlock.

Returning to the staircase, they found the last of the enslaved children dead, and the pirates on a slow retreat up the stairs, Urtz doing what he could, but unable with his small force to save anyone by himself. The party beat the pirates back, who fled away deeper into the base. Urtz branched off, going to secure the armory, while the party followed a few pirates who had made a retreat into a large trophy room, ending their lives.

Moving further in, they came across four landspeeders and pirates piling into them. After three of the speeders took off, the team decided to pursue, getting to the final landspeeder and killing the pirates who occupied it. Afterwhich, they began debating wether or not they were following the right group of pirates. After a few coms over to Urtz’s group, and some general indecision, Trinity applied her great hunting and tracking abilities to determine that they were indeed on the pirate kings trail, and the team piled into the landspeeder.

Going through a dangerous maze the landspeeder was obviously not designed to traverse, and lacking an Ace Pilot, the team slowly made their way after the pirate king, coming upon the group of pirates, only to find them at a docking platform, fighting Fulminar who were tearing through the ships docked there. Tash piloted their landspeeder around the pirates, towards the ship the pirates seemed to of been heading too, drawing the fire of the pirates, and some Fulminar attention as well.

A fierce battle ensued, during which it was found they did not have the passcode for opening the pirate kings ship. Out in the open and under fire, the team took heavy damage all around.

The worst of it being received by So Leet, who found himself in a strange black void, with voices of his mother and sister calling for him to come to them, his mother offering rest, his sister crying for help. See sidenote below for further information.

The Pirate King Orychee decided the battle was not going in his favor, and escaped with one of his henchman on the landpseeder back towards his base. The team, deciding not to pursue him by the leftover landspeeders, worked at getting inside the spaceship. Trinity folding space into the cargo hold, opened it from the inside. The team then fled from attacking Fulminar, who began eating through the ships hull. Docking at the Star Destroyed infused with the space station, they sought out a medical bay where they rested to recover from the deadly wounds.

Deciding to head back to the Ssi-Ruuk base they had temporarily made their HQ, Trandomar contacted one of Allasandria’s children, who named herself Lahsonaf. Negotiations were attempted, but the team wouldn’t agree to any of the terms suggested, and they now make their way through the station, So Leet scouting stealthily ahead…

Now, the fulminar are scouring over the station, searching for their sister Corisanlia, while their battle cruiser systematically blows away ships in docking bays and docking platforms. Word that the mon calamari Perit has confiscated the Black Market has come from Urtz, possibly seeking control of the station as he was promised by the team. What will become of the slaves remaining on the station? Will the fulminar, who seem bent on revenge for the murder of their siblings, continue their rampage? Will the pirate king ever be brought to justice? Find out next time on Star Wars, Episode XIV – Fulminar!

So Leet sidenote: As So Leet made the decision to help his sister, another mysterious female voice called to him from yet a third direction, warning him that he was at deaths gate, and that he needed to come to her in order to live. Not knowing what was real and what was fake, So Leet drew upon his ability to sense the life of the force, and found it surging where the mysterious voice was coming from. With the cries of his sister echoing in his ears, he painstakingly made his way away from her and his mothers voices.

Drawing closer, the voice took shape into the Fulminar Vahliuorieth, who offered him life if he just took his hand, despite the fact that he and his team had murdered her and her siblings in cold blood. After a series of questions and a bit of confusion, So Leet could make no determination on wether or not the child of Allasandria was attempting to trick him. In the end, he decided to trust the Fulminar’s words, and took the girls hand. Meanwhile, Owen had been operating furiously, but was still losing So Leet’s life despite his best efforts, when suddenly he stabilized.

Fulminar, Pirates, and Mon Calamari

Sitting in there makeshift junk selling stand, our group of adventurers got together to discuss further plans of action. Before things could fully get underway however, they were approached by a man in gray colored robe, giving his name as Darin, he presented orders from the Empire to Daskar’Jin, informing him and the group that he was here to take Thane Starkillers place, as need for a skilled sniper was requested by Riddick for his squad.

Things in order, Daskar’Jin explained their current objectives, free the slaves aboard the wretched station of scum and villainy. After which, he asked for suggestions from everyone. It was decided to go back to the Ssi-Ruuk base, and see what weapons and armament could be scavanged from the hopefully empty base.

After a bit of investigation, the destruction of a destroyer droid and the acquisition of a R2-D1 droid who believed he could go through walls if he just tried hard enough, the team entered the base. Dia’Ven sabotaged the remaining security systems, allowing them to head to the upper level of the base where Ivpikiss and his officers had holed themselves in.

A fierce battle took place, with much table smashing, grenade launching, and lightsaber slicing! In the end, Ivpikiss surrendered and bargained the information he held on the pirates and mon calamari bases for his life. The negotiations were interrupted midway when a Ssi-Ruuk came running in, crying the alarm of Fulminar! ††

A deal was made with the mon calamari spicers/slavers after Daskar’Jin opened negotiations and then Lord Nightmare a.k.a. Owen, and his apprentice a.k.a. Darin took over for him, it was agreed they would combine their forces to deal with the new Fulminar threat, as long as afterwards the pirates were taken out and Perit was given control of the station.

Four of Allasandria’s children were seen coming out into the underground market of the station, and while negotiations with the pirates for a package began to take place, Darin made good work of his shapeshifting abilities to send a grenade sent from the Pirate King Orychee towards Vahliuorieth and the Myneyrsh she was negotiating with.

Needing no further provocation, Vahliuorieth, Washeferneen, Trillanaetheen, and Thelamariena began storming their way through the pirate base. Our team met up with mon calamari forces, which included Roland, Magnus’ brother, and suicide grenade children. The team agreed, after a large debate, to send the suicide children back to Perit, while keeping fifteen spiced up children as troops. †††

With So Leet scouting ahead, it was found the Fulminar had begun invading the base from multiple places, including parts outside the station, resulting in areas be exposed to the void of space. Following the trail of destruction left by the Fulminar, the team clashed against Allasandria’s children.

A ferocious battle ensued, all members of the team showing their different abilities and prowess in battle. In the end, three of the four lay unconcious before the team, while Thelamariena’s head was taken off by Magnus Hyperion.

The children forces, having taken spice, exhibited the force, and lacking Fulminar targets, begun to tear into the pirates ranks.

Now, the children are being blasted by the pirates, the Pirate King Orychee and his mysterious package, revealed to be Corisanlia, are yet to be found!

Will the pirate King be brought to justice? Will Corisanlia be captured? What of the telepathic shout from Washeferneen before she went unconcious? And what about the other fulminar spread throughout the pirate base? And what of Perit?! Find out next time on Star Wars – Episode XIVFULMINAR!

Sidenote on Darin: Darin bought a Twi’lek slave from one of the underground market slavers upon his arrival at the station. After letting her know she was free, she introduced herself as Vizzal’teksa, and brought news of a man named Urtz, a recently escaped prisoner who was said to be raising a band of slaves. The Twi’lek was sent off to try to make communication, and later reported that Urtz would join them in the assault against the pirate base.

†† Sidenote on Ivpikiss: While the deal with Ivpikiss was made by Darin to let him live in exchange for information, after leaving down his secret escape shoot, Owen, with Daskar’Jin’s permission, pressed the button to explode the slave collar the team had put around his neck, resulting in his death. Disturbing.

††† Sidenote on Roland: Magnus and Roland had a long talk, and it was obvious to Magnus that Roland was addicted to spice and not doing well. After some explaining, Magnus discovered Roland seems to of been deceived by Perit, and the money Roland thought was going towards their family debt, was presumably being stolen! Anger filled, but needing to deal with the Fulminar first, Roland set off with Magnus, after asking for a few credits first…for, you know, food and stuff…definitely not more spice…

Quote of the game – Magnus: “Speak Basic!” Ssi-Ruuk: “Bassssic! Harrd!”

Pop Goes The Slaves

The band of adventurers managed to break themselves out of prison, killing a few guards, though not quietly, causing the alarm to be raised in the Ssi-Ruuk base. They then fought their way past patrols, while Daskar’Jin took out the security room to hopefully stop monitoring of the situation.

Finally coming together and closing in on the exit, the party was contacted by Ivpikiss on comlink and informed if they left the base, he would kill all the remaining slaves he had imprisoned. Though there was a brief statement of protest from Magnus Hyperion, the rest of the party, jedi included, decided to leave anyway in accordance with Thane’s desires, letting 50 or possibly more slaves to have their heads blown off by their slave collars.

Meanwhile, Owen Mind Trick ambushed some gamorreans and found a small group of child slaves mining spice from raw ore brought in from off station. After speaking with one of the children, he found that they were slaves of the Mon Calamari Perit. When Owen suggested freedom, the child seemed confused and did not want to stop mining the spice. Leaving the area, Owen mind tricked a child to go turn on a shield generator so he could be outside of it when it was activated. As the child reached to press the button on the generator, the collar around his neck went off, resulting in the childs death. Owen then left to regroup with the rest of the party.

Well, in the end, a handful of slaves were freed, a very large portion of slaves died. So far, the mission to free the slaves on the unnamed space station has been wrought with failure, and now the party has come together after gathering information from the large underground marketplace, giving them a better idea of events on the station itself. What’s next?!

Go to the upper levels and fight the pirate king Orychee? To the lower levels and deal with the nefarious Perit? Perhaps something else? Will more slaves die? Will more innocents be sacrificed for the safety of the party? Is Ivpikiss really out of the picture? Will anyone give in and buy one of the beautiful Twi’lek slaves? Find out next time on Star Wars Episode XIV – Fulminar!

Additional notes: Trandomar purchased two Ithorian slaves, and sent back 3 groups of 4 to be new recruits for the Empire with Hope, who is scheduled to return in 5 days.
